With 230 pupils, St John the Baptist is an average-sized
Church of England primary school in Stockton-on-Tees. Much
of the material that best demonstrates and illustrates the
work that is undertaken in school is in digital form and the
school looks to the software among other things as an ‘evidence
base’. St. Johns wanted software that would be easy
for both staff and pupils to use and that would make it possible
to use 'new media' to communicate the activities and achievements
of the school to OFSTED inspectors, parents, governors and
other school visitors.
Headteacher Maxine Coss explains “There is so much
going on in school it’s sometimes difficult to remember
everything we’ve done! School Life’s ‘LifeLine’
beautifully highlights the key events for each class and the
school as a whole.”

“We can search by date,
curriculum area, class and child to quickly locate
and display pictures of events and examples of
children’s work: it's an ideal way to monitor
and celebrate progress.”
