How much does School Life cost?
School Life is sold on a “site licence” basis i.e. you can install it on one server and any number of “client” PCs connected to the school’s local area network. The price is based on the number of pupils. The price for an average sized (230 pupils) primary school is £825 + VAT for the first year and £412 for the second and subsequent years which, depending on the number of PCs involved can result in a price of less than £15 per PC. What are the technical requirements for School Life?
School Life will typically run on any servers, desktop and laptop PCs purchased in the last 3-4 years and running Windows 2000 or XP with 256Mb of memory or more. Click here for full details or contact us if you have any queries.

Does School Life link with SIMS?
School Life does not link directly with SIMS but the only real area of overlap is in the setting up of pupils in the ‘People’ function. To facilitate this School Life can import bulk pupil data via a spreadsheet using data which can be easily output from SIMS.

How much time will all this take to set up?
Once the software has been installed on the school server and PCs by your technician (or a LifeStyle Software technician if you wish) it only takes a short while to get the software set up and ready to be used by staff and pupils. The software is provided with a comprehensive loose leaf full colour user guide which explains how the software works and provides worked examples for common tasks. Because the software is networked all users share a common database so updating School Life is a collective effort!

What support does LifeStyle Software provide for School Life?
The software has been designed, written and tested by developers with many years of high quality commercial experience so it is very reliable. Should you experience any problems they can place a support call via e-mail or telephone and we will provide assistance. New releases which include additional features and fixes are provided at least once per year and are included free of charge within the annual fee.

Can School Life be used in secondary schools?
